While this is not a very current topic it’s worth noting the Douglas Engelbart passed away this month on July second. Englebart was 88 and passed away in his sleep. While many people don’t know what Englebart did by his name alone they have most certainly been impacted by his inventions.Englebart was the inventor of the first computer mouse. Englebart also had work behind the first graphical user interfaces, and hyperlinks which we all use today as well. Many consider Englebart to be a visionary to the technologies we all know and love today. Without the work Englebart did on the technologies he released we would likely not use computers in the way that we do today.To read more about Englebart and what he did in his lifetime click here.
