Reported by the Microsoft Malware Protection Center on Sept 1st, a new malware attack is out that not only tries to be a clone of Microsoft Security Essentials on victims but it also customizes fake browser warnings. The infection looks just like the Microsoft version but then starts to ask the user to pay for the software which MS doesn’t ask the user to do.
