Google will be deleting Child Porn from the web

Google has developed a new system that will have the ability to eradicate Child Porn from the Internet. This will be the first time that search engines and web firms will be able to swap data  about images that portray child pornography, and sex abuse.

The Internet Watch Foundation has jumped on board and would like to help in anyway they can. Google will have a database fully operational in a year. This database is currently flagging images as child porn. In about one year the system will wipe these images from the web in a single swoop.

Google has implement a technology available since 2008 to read the data about the images on line. They create a fingerprint to identify the file as child pornography this way a human only has to see the image one time.

To make this more successful Google has offered 2 million dollars to developers to create software that will combat child pornography. Google is the first large private organization to take a serious stand against child pornography.
