Microsoft Complies With Court Ruling

As you all know, a federal court was trying to make Microsoft Corporation stop selling Microsoft Word in January 2010 due to a patent infringement with the company i4i.  Did they really believe that Microsoft, as powerful and resourceful as they are, would let that happen?  Just as I thought, Microsoft has quickly pulled the custom XML code from Word in a patch released through Windows Updates in order to comply with the court ruling, and is now back on path for releasing Word in Microsoft Office 2010.  This will be available in the first half of 2010, and a public beta was made available back in November.  You can find it here http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx
