Roku has developed a box that is similar to other “Smart TV” boxes. They have had this technology available to consumers for over a year now. They have just added a service that as not available over the Internet in until just recently. This is your cable service over the Internet.
Roku will be releasing the Roku 2, Roku HD, Roku LT, and the Roku Stick with this service available. It will be like any other app that you have experienced. As of now this service is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and many Android devices, as well as PC’s and Mac’s.
