Facebook Is Now Running Video Advertisements

PrintMark Zuckerberg, the Chief Executive Officer of the world’s number one social networking website, has now decided to run video advertisements. The ads will be automatically played 15 second videos that will be placed throughout the user’s news feed indirectly as to not disturb the individual or take the main focus from the one’s original intent. With the implementation of these high caliber ads, they will collect more money to further revolutionize themselves. An example of the potential usage of this massive revenue explosion could be the funding of their new project to bless the world with wireless internet using solar powered drones.

Representatives from the company say that the video advertisements are only available for a select few companies and said that the price marketers pay for their videos will depend on their audience. The Nielsen measurement firm will conduct research on the audiences for each company that is able to take part in the innovative marketing tactic in order to price out their space. Zuckerberg and his team are also linking up with Ace Metrix, a video analysis firm, in order to make sure the videos are meaningful, watchable, and have an “emotional resonance.” They stated “We’re taking this step in order to maintain high-quality ads on Facebook and to help advertisers understand what’s working to maximize their return on investment.”
