With Microsoft coming out with their own tablet to compete in this aggressive new market there are numerous rumors floating around about price point, features, etc. Microsoft has been very secretive about its price point and also about some of the features they are planning to offer.
Rumors have put these new tablets produced entirely by Microsoft, like Apples iPad, in the price range of $499 to $599. Some newer evidence suggests that they may actually offer a subscription based plan as well for them that could get you a new MS Surface for as little as $199 plus the subscription.
Many people question the subscription idea though due to the fact that Microsoft has offered other subscription based services which have failed miserably in comparison to their other offerings.
So, what’s the new Surface tablet going to set you back, no one knows for sure just yet but the ideas are certainly starting to pile up.
